About Me:
In the spirit of the grateful dead, I welcome everyone to my shop. I can guarantee you will be treated with mutual respect.
I want everyone to be comfortable enough to be themselves. I know guitar shops can be daunting for some of us. I strive to create an accessible shop for everyone. Any accommodations you need reach out and I can assist.
My first electric guitar was from a thrift store. My parents answered an ad for a “Fender Stratocaster” that could be had for only $75. As the original owner belted out classic riffs from the guitar, I knew I had to have it. The guitar (a fake) and a Fender Bronco amp (real) were purchased for $110 total. My love affair with guitars had started.
I wanted to know everything about guitars. How these magical items worked and how I can do it too. I built my first guitar senior year. One of the positive constants in my life was guitars. I bought, repaired, refinished, and sold many guitars over the years. This allowed me to hone my luthier skills and start offering my services to the public.
Fast forward years later, and I still have that original first guitar. I understand the bond you build with an instrument over time. My goal is to strengthen that bond, or repair it, if need be. Creating an instrument that stands the test of time, so the music never stops….
